Addu Afeef Didi's widow in ICU in Seychelles

Aneesa Ali Didi, the widow of Abdulla Afeef Didi, who served as the President of United Suvadive Republic after the southern atolls formed a short-lived breakaway State, is facing serious health issues and is currently receiving treatment in Seychelles. 

Historian Najih Didi shared a post of Facebook, attaching a photo with Aneesa. In the post, Najih stated that Aneesa is currently admitted in the Intensive Care Unit at a Seychelles Hospital. He did not disclose any further details, but appealed to the public to pray for her wellbeing. 

Ahmed Afeef, who served as Vice President of Seychelles for the past five years, is a son of Aneesa and Afeef Didi. He served in the post from October 27, 2020 to September 2025. 

While residing in Seychelles, Afeef Didi passes away in 1993 while in his seventies.
