Male’ City Council will hold its first public meeting of 2026 on 5 February.
The council said in an announcement today that the meeting forms part of the annual public consultations required under the Decentralization Act.
The meeting will take place at 8:45pm at Male’ City Hall on Boduthakurufaanu Magu.
The current council’s term expires in April.
Under the Decentralization Act, city councils are required to hold at least two public meetings each year. Last year, Male’ City Council held two such meetings.
Elections for local councils and the Women’s Development Committee are scheduled for 4 April to elect new members.
