MTCC was awarded projects at 14 islands worth more than MVR 1 billion yesterday.
The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure stated that their State Minister Ismail Hameed and MTCC MD Ahmed Saeed signed the agreement for the 14 projects.
Details of the projects:
- Development of the outer canal of the harbor at HA. Muraidhoo
- Development of the artificial beach at HA. Ihavandhoo
- Protection of HA. Filladhoo's coastline
- Coastal protection and land reclamation at HA. Vashafaru
- Coastal protection and land reclamation at N. Henbadhoo
- Coastal protection and land reclamation at N. Holhudhoo
- Coastal protection of the reclaimed land at N. Maafaru
- Coastal protection and land reclamation at N. Maalhendhoo
- Harbor development at R. Ungoofaaru
- Coastal protection and land reclamation of the industrial zone at R. Alifushi
- Coastal protection at K. Gaafaru
- Coastal protection and land reclamation at Dh. Bandidhoo
- Coastal protection and land reclamation at GA. Kanduhulhudhoo
- Second stage of road repairs at GDh. Fares-Maathoda
These projects total MVR 1.7 billion with varied deadlines for each project.
MTCC stated that their priority is finishing these projects at the specified deadlines and that they will arrive at that aim.
