Police, MACL sign agreement to strengthen emergency preparedness

Maldives Police Service and Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening airport crisis management and emergency preparedness.

Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen signed the agreement on behalf of the police at a ceremony held yesterday, while MACL Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed signed on behalf of the company.

Police said the MoU is intended to enhance cooperation between the two institutions, improve emergency preparedness, and ensure faster and more effective communication and response during emergency situations at airports.
