Police are investigating a miscarriage at a resort in Vaavu Atoll.
According to police, a 27-year-old woman who was reported to be pregnant suffered a miscarriage at a resort after 10am on Friday.
The case is being investigated due to suspicious circumstances, police said.
No further details have been released so far.
The employee of Cinnamon Velifushi Resort. However, police have not officially confirmed details relating to the case.
Police said investigations are ongoing.
