Power restored in Hulhumale' Phase 1 after hour long outage

Power has been restored to most areas of Hulhumale' Phase 1 following an outage that began shortly after 9 am today.

Stelco said electricity had been restored to all affected areas, except for some customers at Platinum Residence. The company has not yet provided a reason for the disruption.

“We apologise for any inconvenience,” Stelco said.

The outage lasted for more than an hour before service was largely resumed.
