The National Youth Conference 2025 began today with the participation of 93 youth from across the country’s atolls.

The opening ceremony was inaugurated by Youth Minister Ibrahim Waheed (Asward), who highlighted the Presidential Youth Advisory Board initiative aimed at bringing youths together to discuss national issues under one roof.

The two-day conference, held at the Youth Hub, will feature workshops in six thematic areas. Its objectives this year include addressing youth concerns, seeking their input to formulate a national youth policy, and promoting youth development.

The conference will conclude tomorrow evening, with participants presenting their findings and proposals to President Dr Mohamed Muizzu during the closing ceremony.
