CCTV cameras to be installed outside Hiyaa Towers

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has begun installing CCTV cameras outside the Hiyaa Towers in Hulhumale' Phase 2. 

In a post on social media, HDC announced today that CCTV cameras are being installed at Hiyaa Towers to ensure safety and security for residents. 

The area will be better monitored with the help of these CCTVs, HDC said. 

The CCTVs are being installed outside the towers this time. The towers already have CCTVs installed in the stairwells, elevators and basements.

Earlier this week, HDC launched the Estate Security Services, aimed at enhancing security in streets, public spaces and buildings in Hulhumale'. 

There are 16 Hiyaa Towers in Hulhumale' Phase 2, home to tens of thousands of people. HDC is also currently working on installing additional elevators at the towers for the convenience of residents.
