Sheikh Mohamed Ibrahim (Naifary), who spreads religious awareness and knowledge to the Maldivian citizens, has asked for public aid after his health worsened.
Sheikh Mohamed Ibrahim, from Lh. Naifaru has been ill for two to three years. He has been suffering from vision and function loss for years.

Along with the loss of vision, he has experienced other medical issues, such as a bone tumor and heart problems.
With the Sheikh requesting for medical aid, the International Aid Campaign (IAC) has begun work to gather funds.

He also stated that if this is fully funded, there is hope the Sheikh may get his vision back.
