President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has decided to meet with the residents of Hulhumalé
Phase 2 next Thursday evening.
The President has been holding meetings with the
residents of all Malé neighborhoods since November 23. So far, he has held
meetings with the residents of Villimalé, Maafannu, Machchangolhi, and
Henveiru.
President's Office Spokesperson Heena Waleed posted on X tonight, stating that the meeting between President Muizzu
and the residents of Hulhumalé Phase 2 will be held next Thursday evening at 8:30
PM at Salahuddin School.
According to Heena, the purpose of these meetings is to
seek the people's ideas and consultation on various issues. All residents
living in the Hulhumalé Phase 2 neighborhood have been invited to attend the
meeting.
The President announced his intention to meet with the
residents of all Malé neighborhoods, including Hulhumalé, during the special
ceremony held on November 17 to mark the second anniversary of this
administration. President Muizzu has also previously visited every island in
the Maldives and met with their residents within the first two years of his
term.
In addition to this, the President has also
decided to meet with business owners next Wednesday evening.
