Police have arrested an individual for stealing from a nursing station at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
He is being held at a custodial jail as the court ruled he may pose a danger to society.
The man arrested for theft is a 37 year old Maldivian man with a long history of past offences.
The court placed him in remand in custody for five days.
As per the remand order, Police have submitted evidence supporting the charge, including CCTV footage.
