Houses and some government offices in GDh. Thinadhoo were damaged last night due to rainfall, which began at midnight, causing flooding across the island.

Thinadhoo City Council has said that the council, with help from the MNDF, have been draining the water from affected areas since last night.

As per social media posts, a lot of houses were flooded, with some rooms being affected and damage being caused to beds and the like. Thinadhoo's Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital was also flooded.
