Police replace forklift with a tow truck

Police have started using a specialized tow truck to tow vehicles, replacing the earlier used forklift. 

While, to date, Police have used a forklift to tow vehicles, it has at times caused damage to the vehicles. 

In a post shared on social media, Police announced that the introduction of a tow truck for towing four-wheeled vehicles has markedly improved operations. 

Yesterday, Police began towing vehicles illegally parked in Male' which obstruct general traffic and pedestrians. 

This includes vehicles parked on zebra crossing lines, street corners, and prohibited areas.
