President pledges to attend every concern individually

At last night's meeting with residents of Maafannu ward, Male', President Dr Mohamed Muizzu listened to residents' concerns and complaints for over three hours and pledged to attend to each individually.

At last night's meeting with residents of Maafannu ward, Male', President Dr Mohamed Muizzu listened to residents' concerns and complaints for over three hours and pledged to attend to each individually. 

Responding to a question from a resident at last night's meeting at Thaajuddeen School, the President said that each concern would be put in writing and reviewed by the President's Office. 

"I will directly attend to these matters. These things will  be sent to relevant ministries, companies and institutions and looked into within the set policies and regulations," President Muizzu stated. 

PRESIDENT MUIZZU MAAFANNU MEETING

The President reiterated that the purpose of holding meetings with citizens is to allow them to voice all their concerns and questions. He stated that he has no reservations about dissenting opinions being voiced, and instead wholeheartedly welcomes it. 

"You can tell me anything you want," he assured the attendees. 

The President stated that such opportunities to present concerns and queries directly to him will be facilitated in the future as well. 

"And it will be given due respect, due weight, without any consideration for what their political affiliation may be. Nor will their gender, family background, status, or anything else matter. I have always maintained that all citizens are equal to me," the President said. 

PRESIDENT MEETS PEOPLE

"The government will work fairly and equitably to ensure the rights of all these citizens are duly protected."

President Muizzu announced that he would be meeting with residents from the wards of capital Male' City on November 17. He has now met with residents of three wards: Vilimale', Mahchangolhi and Maafannu.
