Former PSM MD Nasreen appointed as Deputy Minister of Youth

Ibrahim Nasreen, who resigned from the post of state media PSM's Managing Director last Saturday, has been appointed as a Deputy Minister of Youth. 

Nasreen resigned from the post after having served as PSM MD for about a year. 

It has been learned that Nasreen reported to the Youth Ministry for work yesterday. 

Nasreen was appointed as PSM MD on December 23, 2024. Nasreen, who worked at the State media for 15 years, previously served as Chief Commercial Officer and e-Commerce Director. Prior to his appointment as MD, he was filling the post of Sales and Marketing Director. 

The Youth Ministry currently has four other Deputy Ministers: Ali Amir, Fathimath Ziyadha, Mohamed Aseel and Ibrahim Ali. 

The salary for Deputy Ministers is MVR 20,500 per month. Additionally, an allowance of MVR 15,500 is provided.
