Two expatriates have been detained by police and via an Immigration operation for the bottling and sale of coconut water from their bedroom.
The operation was spearheaded by both agencies, with police stating the home of expatriates were searched yesterday, with two of them being detained by Immigration.
Police said that their search turned up a large number of coconuts and empty bottles.
As per the police, the premises were used to prepare coconuts and coconut water after being bottled and delivered to various shops.
Many expatriates have been detained in the past for unsanitary food preparation and sale of said food. The two aforementioned expatriates have been deported.
