Civil Court employees have filed cases against two Civil Court judges to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
Sources have told Mihaaru News that cases have been filed to the commission regarding Judge Abdulla Ihusan and Judge Hafiza Abdul Sattar.
The case against Judge Hafiza concerns, according to available information, her conduct towards court employees. It is unclear whether the complaint, submitted to the Judicial Service Commission last week, is currently under review.
A similar case was also filed to the JSC against Judge Hafiza in the past. However, as employees did not give their statements, the issue could not be proven.
The case against Judge Ihsan was filed to the JSC some days prior. The case is being reviewed by the commission. As per information, the case revolves around an accusation of insults thrown at an employee.
A case against Civil Court Chief Judge Mariyam Waheed was also lodged by employees to the JSC last year. The case revolved around accusations of employee discrimination and enacting influence in hiring new employees.
