Fire at old Hulhumale' powerhouse leaves one injured

A fire incident today at the old STELCO powerhouse in Hulhumale' has caused one person to be injured. 

In a post on social media, STELCO said that a fire broke out while an issue with a switch gear at the old Hulhumale' powerhouse was being fixed. The incident caused varying levels of injuries to a STELCO staff member, they said. 

The injured individual is currently receiving treatment at Hulhumale' Hospital, according to STELCO. 

No further details of the incident are known as of yet.
