Names of 14 applicants to Tax Appeal Tribunal sent to parliament

The President's Office has sent to parliament the names of fourteen individuals who applied for the five positions which stand to become vacant on the Tax Appeal Tribunal. 

As per the letter read out in today's parliament sitting, names of all applicants have been forwarded to parliament by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu for review and approval.

The list was sent to Parliament's Judiciary Committee today for review. 

Terms of five current members on the Tax Appeal Tribunal will end on November 29.
