A mentor at the National Drug Agency (NDA) has been arrested for providing drugs to clients undergoing treatment at the centre in exchange for engaging in illicit relations.
The man arrested in relation to this case is Mohamed Faseeh, 51, Florida, S. Feydhoo, who was working as a peer mentor at the NDA. He was arrested under a court order today.
A report from the NDA itself on November 4 led to the arrest.
Police said that the case is currently under further investigation.
The issue was raised on social media in recent days. Reports indicate that the accused had sexually abused the clients and taken compromising videos of them.
