Police warn of accident-prone zone on Boduthakurufaanu Magu

Police have today urged caution when traveling near the fuel pump station near the swimming track on Boduthakurufaanu Magu, citing a rise in reported accidents in the area. 

In a social media post, Traffic Police stated that frequent accidents have been reported in the area. They called on motorists, as well as pedestrians crossing the road, to take caution. 

Police asked motorists traveling in the area to reduce speed, stay fully alert, follow road rules and to keep a safe distance. 

"Your attentiveness can save lives, including your own. Let's work together to keep our roads safer for everyone," the post reads. 

Police have also placed a sign in the area warning that it is an accident-prone zone.
