Police probe abduction of a woman in Male'

Police have launched an investigation into a case where a woman was allegedly abducted and held in a house in Maafannu, Male'. 

Police said that they had received reports today of an 18 year old woman being held illegally and subjected to physical abuse. 

While Police confirmed that the investigation is underway, they have not released any additional details. It remains unclear whether any arrests have been made or suspects identified.
