Rain predicted from Monday onwards

Maldives Meteorological Service (MET Office) has forecast rainy weather across the country from Monday onwards. 

A MET Office official stated that southern atolls will experience rain from Thursday onwards. Other regions will have scattered showers until Monday, from when rainy weather will persist across the country. 

Yesterday, MET Office issued a White Alert, forecasting rain in northern Maldives. 

The coming month will see the end of the Southwest Monsoon, and the approach of the Northeast monsoon. The monsoon change habitually brings rains in the Maldives.
