Flats built for Housing Development Corporation (HDC) employees in Hulhumale' Phase 1 have begun to be handed over, with a special ceremony held last evening.
Housing Minister Dr Abdullah Muththalib presented the keys to some recipients of the “Reethigas” apartments during the event.
The project, which began in 2017, comprises 459 apartments across six towers, constructed “in accordance with government policies,” HDC said.
Handover of 153 units in Towers A and B started last night, with the remaining four towers scheduled for completion by December 25.
Each tower will feature two elevators, a common area, a security room, and commercial units. The development also includes 54 car parking spaces and 782 motorcycle slots for residents.
