President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu stated today that various stages of development
projects are now visible on every island across the Maldives.
Speaking at a ceremony held on K. Guraidhoo to mark the completion of the
island's land reclamation project, the President said that just as the land
reclamation was completed on Guraidhoo, the island's other projects will
proceed, and projects on other islands will advance in the same manner. He
affirmed that the government will continue to undertake and complete the work
required for the people of Guraidhoo and all other islands.
"You will see it now on every island. Work is progressing, work is
being completed, and new projects are starting. So, the scene that the people
of Guraidhoo are experiencing or witnessing is, God willing, what the people of
every island will see, and are seeing," the President stated.
He stressed that the government's aim is to fulfill all the pledges he made
to the Maldivian people, and he assured that the government will continue to
work towards that goal.
