President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu stated today that the result is his benchmark for measuring performance, especially the outcome of the pledges he made to the Maldivian people.

Speaking at the official ceremony on Republic Day, the President remarked that a republican government originates from the people, and what is most important to the citizens is the fulfillment of their rights with equality and justice.

Therefore, the President asserted that his responsibility is to ensure that this is done effectively.

"Insha'Allah, over these past two years, regarding the responsibility the people entrusted me with, I remember the oath I took before Almighty God every single day, and I strive to fulfill that responsibility," President Muizzu stated.

He announced a special ceremony on November 17th or 18th to reveal detailed progress on these commitments.

"I believe it is most appropriate, even timewise, to provide information and the results of the work accomplished in every sector, along with the facts, to the people during a dedicated event," he remarked.

The President concluded by stating that the government is also carefully reviewing the extent to which the pledges made in his Presidential Address to the Parliament this year have been fulfilled. He added that any difficulties encountered in achieving these goals are being reviewed and addressed.
