19-year-old dies in motorcycle accident in Hulhumale'

A 19 year old man has passed away following a motorcycle accident in Hulhumale' Phase 2 late last night.

Police identified the victim as Ismail Rayaan bin Nazim, 19, from Light Garden, Kaafu atoll  Dhiffushi. 

The accident occurred on Nikagas Magu, when a motorcycle travelling at high speed in the wrong direction collided with another motorcycle, police said.

Three people were injured in the crash, and Rayaan passed away while receiving treatment at the hospital, according to doctors.

Police are investigating the incident.
