The Chairperson of the ruling party, People's National Congress (PNC), and Parliament Speaker, Abdul Raheem Abdulla, stated today that the large
rally the party is holding in Male' next Friday night will clearly demonstrate
the nation's ideology and the leader Maldivians stand behind.
Speaking to the media after launching the campaign to invite the public to
the rally, which will be attended by President and PNC Leader Dr. Mohamed
Muizzu, Abdul Rraheem said that supporters are attending the rally to
acknowledge and endorse the work the President has accomplished so far.
He added that since President Muizzu will be speaking at the rally, which
will be held at the Artificial Beach area on Friday night, the public will gain
further information and certainty regarding development projects.

"In the history of the Maldives, the most projects handed over to the
private sector in a single day were done by this administration the day before
yesterday. Therefore, the people are not coming because they are confused or
unaware. The people are coming because they know what is happening, and they believe the direction of this
administration is right, looking forward to a new future with a new hope, a new
spirit, and a new life," Abdul Raheem stated.
He expressed confidence that the development desired by the people will be
achieved under the PNC government with President Muizzu's leadership.

Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef stated that with President Muizzu
having now traveled to every island in the Maldives, the people
desire to gather in one place to express their support.
Ibrahim Falah, PNC Parliamentary Group Leader and MP for Inguraidhoo
constituency, noted that as the current administration nears its two-year mark
this month, many supporters wish to gather in one place.
Falah said that with the President having visited many islands recently,
initiating various development projects and working tirelessly, many people
want to gather and express their gratitude.

He anticipates a large turnout for the rally on Friday night, stating that
today's purpose was to give an "invitation card" to everyone residing
in the Malé area.
"There may be citizens in an area where so many people live who don't
directly receive the [invitation card]. However, it is a very special request
from the PNC leadership and our honorable President for all
beloved Maldivian citizens to attend this gathering, this rally," Falah
said.
"We, the PNC, extend that invitation to all beloved Maldivian
citizens."
This will be the first major rally held by the
PNC after a hiatus of approximately two years.
