Minor injured after falling from flat in Hithadhoo

A 15 year old girl was injured after falling from a flat in Addu City, Hithadhoo, police have confirmed.

The incident occurred at around midnight at the 14th Tower, when the minor fell from the second floor.

She is currently being treated in the ICU of Addu Equatorial Hospital.

A hospital spokesperson said the girl sustained various injuries but is in stable condition, adding that further investigations are underway.

The incident follows recent falls from buildings in Maldives, including a fatality in Hulhumale' last Saturday and another in Male' last night.
