Over 500 applicants compete for 70 Immigration posts

Over 500 interested candidates attended today's walk-in interviews held by Maldives Immigration to fill 70 Immigration Officer positions. 

The walk-in interviews were held at Salahuhdheen School, Hulhumale' Phase 1 today. Immigration said that over 500 youth attended the interview. Persons under the age of 30 are eligible for the position. 

Candidates who met the requirements and passed today's interview will face two more stages of the selection process. 

This is the second walk-in interview Immigration has conducted this year. Previously, they sought to fill 50 Officer positions, and received 876 applications, of whom 758 met the eligibility criteria.
