Local teacher arrested for showing porn, sexual harassment

A local teacher working in a southern island has been arrested for showing pornographic content to male students and for sexual harassment. 

Police said that the Education Ministry had submitted reports on Sunday of a school teacher on an island under the watch of the South Central Police showing pornographic content to male students and sexually harassing them.

A 40 year old Maldivian male teacher was arrested on Monday in relation to this case, Police confirmed. When presented in court for his remand hearing, he has been placed in custody for 30 days.
