Island Aviation acquires Hulhumale' land for MVR 49 million

Island Aviation Services (IAS), the parent company of national carrier Maldivian, has purchased a land plot from Hulhumale' for MVR 49.4 million. 

The land plot purchased by IAS is Plot number 11725 under Housing Development Corporation, which is 12,481 sqft in size and is located in Hulhumale' Phase 1.

The plot is located in front of the Hulhumale' 'Rashu Market', on a corner adjacent to the main road.

The court has now ruled that the land is now owned by IAS as the payment has been made in full, and no one has contested ownership.
