President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has completed visits to all inhabited islands of the Maldives within one year and eleven months of taking the oath of office.

The only other President to have visited every island in such a short period was Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, who achieved this between 1978 and 1983, 42 years ago.

President Muizzu fulfilled his pledge to visit all inhabited islands at least twice during his presidential term with his visit to Thulusdhoo this afternoon, as part of his ongoing trip to Lh. and K. Atolls.
