Maldives Hajj Corporation has introduced a special package for Umrah (non-mandatory pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia) featuring a tour to the Three Harams (holy mosques).
The Three Haram Tour Umrah package consists of visits to the three holiest mosques of Islam:
Al Masjid al-Haram (“the Sacred Mosque”) in Mecca, Saudi Arabia
Al Masjid an-Nabawi (“the Prophet’s Mosque”) in Medina, Saudi Arabia
Al Masjid al-Aqsa (“the Farthest Mosque”) in Jerusalem, Palestine
The price of the package is MVR 41,965 (USD 2723) with a special discount for groups of four or more people.
According to the Hajj Corporation, the package also offers visits to important sites of Islamic history in Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Palestine in addition to the three mosques, as well as the opportunity to pray the Friday prayer at Al-Masjid al-Aqsa.
The Three Haram Tour is a total 18 day trip with 11 days in Mecca, two days in Medina and three days in Palestine.
The date of departure for this package is November 29 and pilgrims will return on December 19.
Those interested can complete and submit their registration forms at the corporation and the branches of Maldives Islamic Bank. A minimum payment of MVR 5000 must be made at the time of registration.
The deadline for registration and payments is October 31. Hajj Corporation stated that payments can be made in full or in installments up to the deadline.
