International Aid Campaign (IAC) has begun assisting in the removal of debris and rebuilding efforts in Gaza following months of bombardment.
In a statement shared on social media on Saturday, the organization said the recovery phase in Gaza had started, with the clearing of destroyed homes and buildings now under way.
IAC Director of Media and Public Relations Azhad Ahmed said 20 trucks organization are currently working in Gaza. The vehicles were rented under the supervision of the IAC team and local municipalities, he added.

IAC is presently focused on clearing damaged roads in Gaza City and Khan Younis, in line with recommendations from the municipalities.
According to IAC, the cleanup project is estimated to cost USD 2.80 per square metre, covering around 800 kilometres of the 910-kilometre road network. The figure includes wages, fuel, and administrative expenses.
In total, cleaning a four-metre-wide stretch of road is expected to cost around USD 8 million, equivalent to more than MVR 123 million.
