The Malé City Council has instructed residents to install and display house
name boards in a clearly visible location.
In an announcement released today, the City Council stated that during
official visits to houses in Malé and Villimalé, it has been noted that some
houses do not currently have their name boards installed in a publicly visible
manner.
The announcement explained that the absence of clearly displayed house name
boards is causing difficulties in providing official services by the council
during formal and other visits to the residences.
To resolve this issue, the City Council has directed all house owners to
install their house name boards in a clearly visible manner on the exterior of the
building.
