Submissions for the Media Commission were opened and the bill was passed and ratified amidst journalists vocally going against the bill. The main concern journalists have is a large amount of government influence, with them being able to regulate journalists as a whole.
Along with that, the appointment of three members via the Parliament and the Parliament having the power to dismiss commission members is also a concern journalists have.
