The BML Scholarship Fund allows top-scoring students to pursue a banking and finance undergraduate course from one of 200 world-class universities.
The students who received the fund this year are Mohamed Ahil Ahmed, Mariyam Jaishan Jaleel and Mohamed Shaun Hilmi.
BML stated that the scholarship is one of their more important initiatives in promoting and strengthening the banking and financing sector.
BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef congratulated the students and stated that receiving the scholarship is the result of their hard work and that this opportunity would increase their financial capabilities. He also said that they will play an important role in the development of the Maldives' financial industry after they complete their studies.
As per the bank, nine students are currently attending top universities in the UK and Australia under BML's scholarship from 2022.
