Police have recovered 109 motorcycles worth MVR 6.8 million last month, according to the Male’ Frontline Policing report.
Motorcycles were the most recovered items among all stolen property during the period from 1st to 30th of last month.
In addition to motorcycles, other recovered items include:
- 13 mobile phones valued at MVR 154,562
- Electronics equipment from eight cases, worth MVR 32,300
- Cash recovered in 20 cases, totaling MVR 588,822
- 39 other items valued at MVR 43,115
The Frontline Police attended 109 scenes last month, which included 10 accidents, 71 theft cases, 12 robberies, and 16 incidents of brawling.
Overall, the total value of recovered property exceeded MVR 7 million.
