President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu stated today that the public's wishes are the
most important factor in all matters, especially in carrying out projects, and
that all work will proceed in accordance with what the public wants.
Speaking at a meeting with the residents of Feevah in Shaviyani Atoll, during
his visit today as part of his ongoing atoll tour, the President said that the
primary purpose of his visits to the people is to understand their needs and to
meet those needs.
"We will do everything, and we will carry out every project, as the
people desire. The people's desire is the most important consideration for us.
Therefore, all matters will be progressed in that manner," the President
affirmed.
Noting that some projects in Feevah have stalled, the President assured
that the government will give attention to every project. He gave his assurance
that the halted projects will be restarted by assigning them to government
companies, and that unfinished projects will also be commenced within a very
short period.
