The Media and Broadcasting Commission will have 7 members. Three of the members will be appointed by Parliament, with four of them being voted in by the media.

Four members have already been selected by the media without an election as not a lot of people came forward for the positions.

Applications for the Media Commission were opened and the law was passed by Parliament and ratified as journalists were voicing against these changes.

The main concern journalists have is the path being open for regulation of journalists through the government's system. Journalists have also said that they see the appointment of three members by the Parliament and Parliament having the power to remove any and all commission members as a big issue.
