President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has left today for Alif Dhaalu (ADh) Atoll, where he will be visiting the ten inhabited islands in the atoll.
The President will be visiting Dhangethi, Dhihdhoo, Omadhoo, Dhigurah, Maamigili, Mandhoo, Fenfushi, Hanyaameedhoo, Mahibadhoo and Kumburudhoo.
The President's first stop today will be in Dhangethi, from where he will travel on to Dhigurah, Dhihdhoo and Fenfushi. His last stop for the day will be Maamigili, where a public meeting will be held tonight.
During the visit, President Muizzu will meet with Island Councils, Women's Development Committees, and key institutional leaders to discuss community development priorities, the President's Office stated, adding that the President will also engage directly will residents to hear their concerns.
This trip falls within the President's initiative to visit all Maldivian inhabited islands within his term.
The President is due to conclude the visit and return to the capital on Wednesday.
Last month, the President visited all inhabited islands in AA, V, M, F, and Th atolls.
