Three arrested for assaulting airport security guard in Fuvahmulah

Three individuals have been arrested for assaulting a security guard who prevented them from climbing the fence at Gn. Fuvahmulaku Airport.

The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on the 28th of September, with police receiving the report at approximately 4:05 a.m.

The suspects:  Hassan Humaam Mohamed of Gulkozuge, Hodhadu district; Ibrahim Siman Ahmed of Zamhareeruge, Hodhadu district; and Bassam Ahmed of Shuhana, Funad district, have all been remanded in custody for 15 days.

Details regarding the injuries sustained by the airport employee have not yet been released.

Police have confirmed that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
