Teachers need to be steadfast in improving quality of education: Minister

Education Minister Dr. Ismail Shafeeu has stated today that teachers need to work towards improving the quality of education.

As per the Minister's video message on Teacher's Day, he stated that teachers are the architects in building a nation. He also stated that teachers are the ones who will impart skills, good characteristics and qualities onto upcoming generations.

The Minister also said that teachers need to work together to further develop educational skills and improve upon their way of teaching, as was the initiative of Teacher's Day this year.

"Teachers need to work together to further develop their educational skills and improve upon their way of teaching. We are with you on this. We want to work towards offering you any help we can in improving your ability, strengthen your connection to one another and work with all relevant parties and principals on this," said the Minister.

On the occasion of Teacher's Day, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has given his assurance that the administration will give special attention towards the development of all teachers and provide the relevant facilities to do so.

As per the President, the best, ambitious, and courageous children of tomorrow that will fly the flag of the nation are currently in school's. He also said that the children of the next generation will be shaped by the teacher's instructions, education and kindness.

Various activities will be taking place in schools in celebration of Teacher's Day.
