Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) has begun handing over the keys to 4,000 flats developed under the Binveriyaa Housing Scheme in Hulhumale' yesterday.

At a ceremony held yesterday, FDC Managing Director Hamdhan Shakeel presented the first set of keys to a recipient of an apartment in Tower 14 of Amaan Udhares.

FDC said keys will be issued to flat recipients after they pay the required security deposit. More than 500 people have already completed payment.

The handover will take place daily from 9 am to 4 pm, with recipients notified through the online portal when keys for each tower are ready for handover.

To ease the move-in process, FDC has arranged advance booking slots via the portal for transporting and storing large items and furniture.

“The main objective is to reduce crowding in common areas as families move into the towers, and to ensure the process is completed in an orderly manner,” the company said.

The corporation has also issued an Aman Handbook containing essential information for new residents.

The two projects, constructed by two Indian contractors, include both two-bedroom and three-bedroom units.

  • Two-bedroom flats: Rent MVR 7,000 per month, with a maintenance fee of MVR 1,000 and security deposit of MVR 15,000.
  • Three-bedroom flats: Rent MVR 9,500 per month, with a maintenance fee of MVR 1,500 and security deposit of MVR 25,000.
