Alia staff donate blood this year as well

Alia has announced that many individuals attended the Blood Donation Camp that took place on Saturday, which was organized by Alia and the Maldivian Blood Service.

Alia has said that their yearly blood donation camp is warmly received by the public. They also said they encouraged donors to donate consistently.

Alia said the aim of the ongoing blood donation camp is to raise awareness amongst Maldivians and create a community of caring individuals who will be ready when people are in need.

As per Alia, it is important for the community to come together to bring a solution to the difficulty that people face when in sudden need of a blood transfusion. They also said that there is a need to raise awareness in this matter as well.

Blood is needed for people who are being treated for cancer, thalassemia, sickle cell anemia, incidents such as child birth and natural disasters. Having a blood reserve is vital in providing quick treatment that can end up saving lives.
