Renowned businessman and Jumhooree Party (JP) leader Qasim Ibrahim has been discharged from hospital after receiving treatment at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
Qasim, who also serves as Maamigili MP, was admitted on Tuesday after experiencing health difficulties while at Sun Island Resort.
He was brought to Male' by speedboat amid concerns over pressure change and admitted to IGMH.
A source close to him said his condition has since stabilized and he has been released.
Qasim, 74, has a history of heart problems. In 2017 he was hospitalized for heart disease and later sought treatment in Singapore and Germany.
