A Nepalese woman working in a shop in Hulhumale' has been stabbed today. 

Police said that they received reports of a woman attacked with a sharp object being taken to the Hulhumale' Hospital at around 12:45pm today. 

Police said that the victim is a 21 year old female sales staff of a shop in Hulhumale' Phase 1. 

Police did not reveal the identity of the assailant, nor offer details of the motive behind the attack. 

The condition of the victim remains unclear as Hulhumale' Hospital has not yet commented on the case. 

Police stated that they are conducting investigations into the incident.
