President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has returned to capital Male' City after concluding his visit to 31 islands spanning across four atolls.
The President commenced the eight-day trip on September 19. On the trip, he visited all inhabited islands in Vaavu, Meemu, Faafu and Thaa atolls.
During the visit, the President inaugurated multiple initiatives, including those concerning housing, education, health and wellbeing, fisheries, agriculture and economy expansion.

- Introduction of ATM services in islands which did not previously have the facility.
- Signing of four agreements in Vaavu atoll.
- Commencement of five projects in Vaavu atoll.
- Inauguration of 4 completed projects in Vaavu atoll.
- Signing of ten agreements in Faafu atoll.
- Commencement of 13 projects in Faafu atoll.
- Inauguration of 6 completed projects in Faafu atoll.
- Signing of six agreements in Meemu atoll.
- Commencement of 13 projects in Meemu atoll.
- Inauguration of 2 completed projects in Meemu atoll.
- Signing of 20 agreements in Thaa atoll.
- Commencement of 29 projects in Thaa atoll.
- Inauguration of 12 completed projects in Thaa atoll.
"The long overlooked Kolhumadulu, which, for years, has been kept off the development radar has finally returned to the development map. This is the establishment of equality. This is ensuring fairness. This is the kind of governance I believe in," the President said.
This visit falls within the President's decision to visit all inhabited islands. Cabinet ministers and leaders of government institutions accompanied the President on this trip.
