Hulhumale' GP Clinic converted to a 24-hour facility

The General Practice (GP) Clinic in Hulhumale' Phase 2 has converted into a 24-hour facility.

Male' City Group of Hospitals CEO Ibrahim Haleem posted on X stating the GP Clinic at the Hiyaa Flats began a two-shift service on 23rd April. He also stated that this falls under their work to further develop the health industry.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has decided that the clinic will operate 24 hours from last night onwards, said Haleem.

"This will prove to be even more of a convenience to the residents of Hulhumale' Phase 2. Due to this step, families in the area have a medical service facility close by that is reliable and trustworthy," said Haleem.

The clinic was opened in January 2023 at Hiyaa Tower 16 in order to accommodate for the demand at Hulhumale' Hospital.

The current administration is gearing up to open GP Clinics that will operate under a referral system. The first of these clinics will open nearby STO's Head Office very soon.

Male' City Group of Hospitals have said that these clinics will also be opened in Male's four district.
